Day 01

Pick up at the airport.

Departure to Nauta by road. Ride will take approximately one hour and a half. Once in Nauta boat will be waiting in order to start our expeditions to one of the most pristine protected areas in Peru named Pacaya Samiria national reserve. After three hours of boat ride we will be reaching this astonishing landscape place featured to be the jungle of the mirrors due to quality of reflection of their black waters.

Stop at check point where we will sign in guest book being main requirement in order to get deep into this national reserve.

After entrance procedure we will head to our first camp site where we have a variety of activities in order to enjoy this magical place.

Lunch followed by our first outing where we will have different options such as; pink and gray dolphin observation, piranha and other species game fishing, primates observation, walk in seasonally flood plain forest, bird watching, swimming with dolphins and more.

Dinner

After dinner we will have optional activities: night walk in search of nocturnal creatures (possible observation of snakes, spiders, raccoons, night monkeys, nocturnal birds, frogs etc.) 

Day 02

Early morning activity prior to breakfast. Being as the best time in order to see the most exotic and colorful birds we encourage to you to watch birds as macaws, parrots, tanagers, orioles and species of mammals as well.

Breakfast

For this morning we have scheduled a dugout canoe ride in order to explore narrow creeks and observing whatever Mother Nature provides. We expect to see monkeys, sloths, iguanas and very colorful birds considered to be seem in this unique ecosystem.

Lunch

A great dolphin observation await us for this afternoon. The naturalist will explain how dolphins adapted to a new life in the amazon since they were ocean dwellers millions of years ago.

Dinner followed by a night boat ride in search of caimans. Naturalist will not hesitate if wrestling is needed!!!! 

Day 03

After breakfast we will depart to our full day trip to a unique area named El Renacal being our objective to see macaws, species of large primates, prehistorical looking bird called Hoatzin. Your dream to see anaconda may become true in this amazing place. Picnic lunch.

 Day 04

After breakfast we will depart to Yarina located around ranger station 02 in order to explore different creeks known to have lots of wildlife according to last research. Options to see giant river otter, tapir which are considered rare to see.

Day 05

This day is aimed to explore one of the less explored creeks even by local fishermen. Get ready because today is considered as the highlight by all our guest so far!!! So beautiful landscapes, and lots of biodiversity .

Day 06

Departure to Nauta.
